Are you technically skilled and do you enjoy working with machines, systems and production processes? Do you have experience as an operator and are you comfortable working with computers and automated lines? Then this could be your next step.

Dit ga je doen

As a Machine Operator, you are responsible for operating your own automated production or packaging line within a food production environment. You work with computer-controlled systems, monitor process parameters and make technical adjustments where needed. Your role combines hands-on machine operation with technical problem-solving and quality control.

You ensure that production runs smoothly by analysing deviations, solving first-line technical malfunctions and keeping the line in optimal condition. Working according to HACCP and strict hygiene standards is a core part of the job. You also register production data and actively think about process improvements.

This is a technical role within food processing. The products you work with are processed in-house and prepared according to strict quality and safety standards before packaging. There is no slaughtering and no exposure to raw processing scenes. You work in a clean, professional production environment with modern equipment.

Your tasks include:

  • Operating and adjusting automated production or packaging lines via control systems;
  • Monitoring process parameters and making technical corrections;
  • Solving first-line mechanical and basic technical malfunctions;
  • Performing quality checks and ensuring compliance with HACCP standards;
  • Registering production data in digital systems;
  • Keeping your workstation and machinery clean and technically operational.

The working temperature is between 5°C and 15°C, which is standard in food production. You receive proper work clothing, structured onboarding and guidance from experienced operators.

Working hours & shifts
Production schedules may vary due to operational demand. The primary structure is a 2-shift rotation, but adjustments can occur depending on workload and planning. Flexibility in shift availability is therefore important.

  • Day shift: 06:30 – 15:30 (including 1-hour break)
  • Afternoon/evening shift: 15:30 – 00:30 (including 1-hour break)

Hours between 18:00–06:00 receive a 31.5% shift allowance.

All scheduling changes are communicated in advance and always take place in consultation. The company aims for stability in rosters, but a production environment requires adaptability. We are therefore looking for operators who are flexible and comfortable with rotating shifts. Occasionally, Saturday work may occur (never mandatory, always in consultation).
