For many years, this company has been producing delicious deli meats that are sold in major supermarkets throughout the Netherlands. They are especially known for their specialty product, Filet Americain. In addition, they produce (vegetarian) grilled sausage, roast beef, minced meat products, likkepot, and many other tasty delicacies.

As a Packer, you will play an important role in both the production and logistics process. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure that packaged meat products are sorted into the correct boxes and quantities so they can be delivered to the right supermarkets every day.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing the daily schedule each morning;
Checking packaged meat products for the correct labels and packaging;
Ensuring that all quantities match the customer orders;
Sorting and preparing orders for shipment.

Working hoursYour new position is a full-time day shift role from Monday to Friday. Your workday starts at 07:00 or 08:00 AM and ends when all work for the day has been completed. On average, you will work 36 to 40 hours per week.

A gross hourly wage of €14,78
Travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometer for distances exceeding 10 km;
Overtime pay at 125% of the regular hourly rate;

Living in or near Zoetermeer, The Hague, Moerkapelle, Zuidplas, Alphen aan den Rijn, Leiden, or other nearby towns and cities;
You have a good command of the Dutch or English language;
Experience in production or logistics is preferred;
Willing to work in a cool environment with meat products;
A flexible, full-time worker who is willing to work overtime when necessary due to urgent orders.

The company you will be working for is located in Zoetermeer and has been producing a wide range of deli meats for many years. They are also an important supplier to major supermarket chains such as Jumbo, Plus, Lidl, Albert Heijn, and many others. There is a good chance that you have already had one of their products on your sandwich!

No animals are slaughtered on site. The production facility focuses solely on processing meat into finished products by adding ingredients, grilling products, and packaging them. Vegetarian deli meat products are also produced at this location.

In addition to the work itself, the company is easily accessible by public transport and cares greatly about its employees. Multiple languages are spoken within the organization, although proficiency in either Dutch or English is required. There are also various departments within the company, giving you the opportunity to learn different processes and develop your skills across the organization.
